1. Introduction
Blue Collar Tech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates CallScope ("the Service"), an AI-powered call processing and estimating platform for field service contractors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
By using CallScope, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth / Google OAuth). We do not store passwords.
Business Information
You may provide your company name, logo, business address, and business rules (minimum job amount, deposit percent, etc.) to configure your account.
Call Data
You may upload audio recordings of customer calls and/or paste call transcripts. Audio files are stored securely in Supabase Storage. Transcripts and AI-generated extractions (customer info, scope of work, action items) are stored in our database.
Pricing Data
You may upload your pricing sheet (CSV). Line items including service names, units, and prices are stored to enable AI-powered estimate generation.
AI-Generated Content
Our Service generates call summaries, scope items, estimates, and email drafts on your behalf. This content is stored and associated with your account.
Usage Data
We track feature usage including the number of calls processed, scope agent sessions used, and AI token consumption. This data is used for billing and service improvement.
Payment Information
Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Transcribe audio call recordings using OpenAI's Whisper API.
- Process transcripts and generate structured data (customer info, scope, estimates) using Anthropic's Claude AI.
- Send transactional emails on your behalf using Resend (e.g., estimate delivery to customers).
- Process subscription payments and manage billing via Stripe.
- Monitor AI token usage internally for billing calculations and operational analytics.
- Improve the accuracy and performance of our AI features.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third parties to operate our Service. Each is bound by their own privacy practices:
OpenAI
Audio transcription via Whisper API. Audio content is processed per OpenAI's API data usage policies.
Anthropic
Call transcript processing and content generation via Claude API. Processed per Anthropic's API data policies.
Supabase
Database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure. Data is stored in Supabase's managed Postgres and S3-compatible storage.
Stripe
Payment processing and subscription management. Card data never touches our servers.
Resend
Transactional email delivery (estimate emails, summaries). Email content is processed per Resend's policies.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and call records for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law.
Audio recordings may be deleted earlier once transcription is complete, at your request through account settings.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Export your data (estimates, call records, customer info) in a portable format.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Security
We take security seriously. Our database uses row-level security (RLS) so that users can only access their own company's data. Files are stored with access controls. Communications between your browser and our servers use HTTPS encryption.
No system is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security issue, please contact us immediately at security@callscope.app.
8. Call Recording Consent
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding call recording in your jurisdiction. Many jurisdictions require all parties to a call to consent to recording. By uploading call recordings to CallScope, you represent that you have obtained all necessary consents.
9. Children's Privacy
CallScope is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
